Micaela Díaz Prado is part of the Human-Computer Interaction division as a student assistant. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru (PUCP) in Lima, Peru. During her studies, she specialized in User Experience and Service Design. She also worked on editorial design and 3D modelling projects. For her bachelor’s thesis, she designed CogniFun!, a board game that promotes social and cognitive skills in older adults, which received a research grant from PUCP. During her studies and after graduating, she worked as a freelance editorial and graphic designer. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction at the University of Salzburg and the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences. She is interested in the connection between design, arts, and technology, such as physical computing, coding, interaction design, and data visualization.
