Axel Baumgartner was a Research Fellow at the Center for Human-Computer Interaction and Christian Doppler Laboratory “Contextual Interfaces” at the University of Salzburg. He supported projects as a software engineer and researcher. For his master’s thesis, he investigated how a novel tool for the computerized experience sampling method (ESM) could help to face the current challenges of in-the-wild research in HCI.
