Lourdes María Sánchez Hernández is a research assistant at the Human-Computer Interaction division. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design and Product Development Engineering from Universidad de Zaragoza in Spain. During her studies, she specialized in 3D modelling, rendering and product design. She also explored topics connected to industrial manufacturing, embodied interaction and physical prototypes, including projects involving Arduino microcontrollers. For her bachelor thesis, she collaborated with Segula Technologies’ Rail division in the R&I Department.
She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction at the University of Salzburg and Salzburg University of Applied Sciences. At the HCI center, she contributes to research projects and academic management. Her interests include HRI, furniture design, tangible technology and reverse engineering. Her approach combines creative exploration with user-centered and innovation-driven design methods.
