Jose Maria Santiago III (Former Member)

Jose Maria Santiago III worked as a Student Assistant at the Center for Human-Computer Interaction from October 2023 to January 2025. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science while pursuing a Master’s Degree in Human-Computer Interaction through the Joint Master’s Program of the University of Salzburg and Salzburg University of Applied Sciences. During his time at the Center, Jose Maria focused on projects including co-creating the website for the HCI Joint Master’s Program and collaborating on the CodeAbility and MINTLabs projects, which explored programming education, generative AI, and STEM engagement. These projects allowed him to contribute to research and practical applications, including workshops at the MakerFaire Salzburg, where he designed interactive activities for young learners. Currently, he is exploring opportunities to advance his research in HCI and Generative AI, aspiring to create innovative solutions that enhance human-technology interactions while bridging the gap between user and AI.
