ActiBrains will develop and validate a novel, ICT-assisted training tool for enhancing both cognitive activities and memory performance. The objectives are (1) to attain an optimal level of cognitive activation and to reduce stress and anxiety by means of individ-ualized neurofeedback, (2) to improve the working memory, (3) to improve the responsive-ness, e.g., with respect to traffic safety, (4) to nurture mental flexibility in coping with new ICT, and (5) to stimulate parallel information processing by integrating both brain hemispheres.
